BELLBROOK FIRE/EMS

Join us!

When our neighbors need help, we're there. Whether it's fire, EMS or rescue, we're there to answer their call.

But we can't do it alone.

We're always looking for new members to join our team of professionals. You don't need any experience.

Our ranks include professional firefighters, computer programers, college students and people from many other fields.

Prospective applicants must go through a series of interviews, and are subject to a background check and a review of your driving record. The application process takes several weeks to complete.

Once you join, you'll be outfitted in a complete set of firefighting gear. You'll also receive a radio pager, a uniform and (after 6 months) a light and siren for your car.

The city will pay for any fire or EMS related training, including Firefighter 1-A and EMT-B classes, with a time commitment. Members are also 'reimbursed,' based on their activity for the month.

We also have openings for specialized volunteers. These volunteers help with public relations and other special events at the fire station. They also serve as a support group for the department.
