EMS Operations Team

As you can imagine, the EMS Operations Team ensures that quality emergency medical care is only a phone call away. Continuing education, quality improvement review and keeping in touch with the latest advancements in emergency medicine are more than enough to keep the team busy.

But the team also promotes several public education programs. Included in these are babysitting classes, "Until Help Arrives" (pre-arrival instruction), and CPR classes.

In fact, public CPR classes are held every other week and every sixth grade student goes through the program during their health trimester.

Another aspect of the EMS Operations Team is the Bicycle EMS Team. This team of specially trained Emergency Medical Technicians (EMTs) rides at public events to provide advanced care to areas not accessible to medics.
